This wiki contains resources for educators interested in podcasting for language learning and teaching. Although the primary focus is on English Language Teaching (i.e. EFL & ESL), what you find here should also apply to podcasting and MFL (Modern Foreign Languages) teaching and learning.
ELT Podcasting Guide
This wiki was initially created to support the TESOL EVO (Electronic Village Online) session on podcasting in 2006. The pages created for this course are still available and can be found below.

How, why, and when?
Podcasts offer a number of great opportunities for language teachers and learners. Apart from offering a wealth of interesting listening
material for class, there is evidence that recording learners can not only be motivating, but also help improve their performance in the
target language. There are good reasons for
publishing these recordings online too. In this workshop we'll not only be looking at why teachers might want to start podcasting with learners, but I'll also be helping to show you how to do so and suggest when it can best be used.
